Local charity and social landlord Peter Bedford Housing Association (PBHA) opens Clissold Community Garden to the public on 13-14 June, as part of the National Trust’s annual Open Garden Squares Weekend. Members of the public, PBHA tenants and participants are invited to come down and explore the garden, meet their neighbours and relax in a peaceful haven. The garden is the focal point for Plot to Plate, PBHA’s project to encourage tenants and participants to grow, cook and eat healthy food. Community quilt unveiled at Isledon canteen launch party

Peter Bedford Housing Association (PBHA) tenants, staff and local government representatives celebrated the launch of our newly refurbished community hub and canteen at 181A Isledon Road, with a summer barbecue on Tuesday 22 July. Tenants and participants  are warmly invited to this month’s Peter Bedford Housing Association Forum, which takes place on Wednesday 14 May, from 1pm to 3pm at Legard Works. Come along to share your views about Peter Bedford, help improve our services and meet people - including our new Participant Involvement Officer, Mandy Mansfield, who joined Peter Bedford Housing Association earlier this month. FREE  lunch will be served at  Legard Café , from 12pm to 1pm, made by catering trainees and our wonderful chef Sopie, using fresh ingredients from the Plot to Plate gardens at Clissold and Isledon Road.
