We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to provide excellent customer service at PBHA’s  independent shop Outpost, which also serves as a gallery, and flagship social enterprise on Holloway Road.

Key areas in which the successful candidate will be involved in are; the running of Outpost as a retail business, training shop, gallery and community hub alongside the Outpost Coordinator. Also, working with the Retail Trainer to ensure the delivery of high quality retail training programmes for PBHA tenants and participants relevant to industry needs. leading on the volunteer programme at Outpost, providing leadership and support for Outpost’s team of volunteers and taking an active role in the Outpost marketing and communication, promoting the business and PBHA’s work and core values through a range of media platforms. The effective delivery of all operations is for the purpose of ensuring that  Outpost is successful and enabling it to flourish and become a self-sustaining social enterprise.

Outpost  stocks carefully curated and ethically sourced homewares, gifts and accessories as well as providing a platform for PBHA artists and makers to exhibit and sell their work. Alongside this, Outpost is a training facility providing opportunities for PBHA tenants and participants to gain valuable work experience and retail qualifications in a real work environment. In the gallery space, Outpost also hosts a programme of exhibitions, workshops and events for the local community.
